Terms and conditions KMW 2022

By registering for the KMW, I agree to all the rules and sanctions mentioned in this document during this weekend. I agree that the Introduckie will reserve a place for me at the KMW, and that I will pay the pre-specified costs, even if I cancel after the registration deadline.

The members of the Introduckie are ultimately responsible during the KMW. The members and kennismakers present must adhere to the instructions of the Introduckie. 

Open fire is prohibited in the residence.

Smoking is allowed outside, if the butts are thrown in appropriate ashtrays. 

The indoor furniture may not be used outside the building.

Loud music is not allowed to be played outside the building after 22:00. 

Members and kennismakers of the Koornbeurs, except those who are registered for it, do not participate in the activities related to the Novitiaat. When novitiaat activities are going on, members and kennismakers should refrain from joining, unless otherwise consulted with the Introduckie.

If a member or kennismaker violates the rules, the Introduckie can proceed to impose the following sanctions:

• The Introduckie has the right to confiscate all smoking equipment during the rest of the weekend from persons in violation. The properties will be returned upon departure of the member or kennismaker of the KMW.
• The ABR is in force during the KMW. The members of the Introduckie and the responsible emergency response officer may at all times give an alcohol ban to members and kennismakers present.
• The Introduckie has the right to send a member or acquaintance home for misconduct. The return journey and the costs are then entirely at your own responsibility. Furthermore, the person pays his/her full rate for the KMW.

Any other sanctions for violations of the KMW can be determined afterwards according to normal association procedures.

Noviet: jij

Novitiaat: hetgeen waar je je voor inschrijft

Novietenuren: periode waarin novitiaatsactiviteiten gaande zijn, en de regels gelden.

Novitiaatscommissie: de mensen die het novitiaat organiseren

Het Novitiaat van de Koornbeurs is onderhevig aan de Richtlijnen introductietijd, zoals opgesteld door de TU Delft. De aard van het Novitiaat is niet zo serieus als dat je van de kennismakingstijd van studentenverenigingen zou verwachten. Het Novitiaat is volledig optioneel, en er is absoluut geen verplichting om deze af te maken om lid te worden. Het Novitiaat beslaat slechts het weekend van het KMW, en de tijd die je er effectief mee bezig bent (novietenuren) zijn ook slechts zo’n vier uur per dag.

Door mij in te schrijven voor het Novitiaat ga ik akkoord met de volgende voorwaarden:

• Gedurende de novietenuren doe je mee met de activiteiten die de Novitiaatscommissie van je eisen. De novietenuren beslaan niet het hele KMW: de novietenuren worden in- en uitgeluid met een megafoon.

Leden en kennismakers van de Koornbeurs, die niet onderdeel zijn van de Novitiaatscommissie, mogen zich niet bemoeien met de activiteiten van de Novitiaatscommissie. Uitgezonderd hierop zijn vertrouwenspersonen, die mogen ingrijpen wanneer zij dit nodig achten.

Gedurende de novietenuren is er geen excessief fysiek contact tussen de novieten en de Novitiaatscommissie.

Als iemand van de Novitiaatscommissie naar jouw idee te ver gaat en/of je verkeerd behandelt, kun je dit melden bij de Introduckie, of één van de onafhankelijke vertrouwenspersonen.

Novieten mogen ieder gewenst ogenblik besluiten dat ze niet langer willen deelnemen aan het novitiaat, zonder consequenties. Je kunt dan niet op een later moment weer aansluiten.
